Smilepod has a team of specialists and experts dedicated to providing you with the best dental care, whatever your needs.

What does being a specialist mean?

Registered specialists have carried out additional years of training to gain specialist qualifications in their field. On top of the five years spent on gaining their dental surgeon qualification, specialists spend up to three more years in post-graduate education to gain their specialist registration.

The entry to the register of specialists is regulated by the General Dental Council. Only dentists who meet their criteria are allowed to call themselves ‘specialist’.

Our specialists at Smilepod

Our specialist team is made up of a Specialist Periodontist (gum disease) Endodontists (for the treatment of root canals) and Orthodontist (for more complex orthodontic treatments) supported by an experienced Oral Surgeon to help with difficult extractions and to place dental implants.

I can't say enough great things about Dr Stephen Nkansah and his wonderful assistant at Smilepod Soho.Over the course of my treatment, Dr Stephen has not only significantly improved the health of my teeth but also the appearance of my smile. He is an incredibly skilled professional and very patient. During my Invisalign treatment, I had a special request to remove my attachments for an upcoming event.
