We are also supported by our specialist periodontist Dr. Anju. She is here to treat gum disease and carry out gum treatments.

Ana graduated in Rio de Janeiro in 1999 and soon after started working in a busy dental practice as a general dentist. After a few years, she joined forces with a colleague from university and opened a practice in the South Region of Brazil, which continues to be successful. She moved to London in 2007, in search of a fresh challenge and to start her family.
As soon as Ana graduated in 1991, she began to work in a private practice. In the same year, she joined the restorative dentistry team at the University of Ribeirão Preto. In 1998, she was made Professor of restorative dentistry at the University of Franca responsible for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Ana dedicated herself to teaching, practicing dentistry and working towards her postgraduate qualifications.
In 2007 she moved to Portugal , where she continued to work with a focus on restorative dentistry, having the opportunity to lead hands-on sessions to professionals in national dentistry conferences. Ana has lived in London since 2012, but has continued to work in Portugal exclusively with aesthetic dentistry, specifically with dental bonding treatments. In London, she has been working in different practices across the capital, dedicating herself to her specialty and passion. Ana has a keen interest in working with direct composites and in improving patients’ smiles, consequently having a positive impact on their self-esteem.
Dr Erica Zelesco received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Rio de Janeiro University in 2016, supplemented by extracurricular credits from De Montfort University in Leicester.
Dr Zelesco is a true advocate of Non-Invasive Dentistry, she prioritises minimal intervention methodologies combined with innovative technologies. She is also committed to empowering her patients by educating them and providing all the necessary information to ensure they feel engaged in their treatment journey. In addition, Dr Zelesco offers Cosmetic and Invisalign treatments, recognising the profound impact that a beautiful, natural smile can have on individuals’ daily lives and their self-confidence.
Magatha is a committed dental professional dedicated to promoting smiles and oral health, with a genuine interest in helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral well-being. Her passion for dentistry and patient care is evident in every aspect of her work.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Surgery from the University of UNIVALI, Brazil, in 2015, where she developed a strong foundation in comprehensive dental care. Building on this, she pursued a Postgraduate degree in Orthodontics from the College of São Leopoldo Mandic, Brazil, in 2019, which equipped her with advanced skills in aligning teeth and improving oral function.
Since relocating to the U.K., Magatha has become a licensed Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist, providing essential oral health promotion and prevention services. She advises patients on effective oral hygiene practices, ensuring they understand the importance of maintaining good oral health. Her expertise and dedication have made her a valuable asset to her practice.
Magatha is known for her compassionate and empathetic approach, always striving to make each patient’s dental visit a positive and educational experience. She takes the time to listen to her patients’ concerns and works diligently to create personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs.

Turn right and progress along HIGH HOLBORN and make for the traffic lights and pedestrian crossing outside PRET A MANGER. Cross the road to Procter St and toward GYM BOX. Keep GYMBOX on your right-hand side and pass underneath the building that spans the road. Smilepod Holborn is 30 Meters on the right-hand side next to the bus stop.
