Biography

I was interested in Dentistry from a very young age. After pursuing a bachelors in Dentistry and Masters in Periodontology from India, I moved to the UK to pursue my passion in the dental world. After working for 3 years in the cancer research sector in the UK, I decided to follow my dreams of improving gum health in people. I am a very friendly, patient oriented, caring person and this translates into my dental practice. It is my goal to make hygiene appointments comfortable and an enjoyable experience for the patients.

Special Interests in dentistry:
I have a passion for improving gum health in patients as a preventative measure and to benefit their general health. Teeth whitening and cosmetic procedures are some of my other areas of interest.

I had been dealing with gum recession on my lower front teeth for quite some time, mainly due to naturally thin gum tissue, a tight frenum, and the presence of a fixed retainer. After a previous graft attempt years ago that wasn’t successful, I was understandably nervous about trying the procedure again.However, my experience with Dr. Hygino completely changed my perspective. He recommended and performed an epithelialized gingival graft, carefully explaining how this approach would provide additional support and protection to the affected area. From the very beginning, I felt I was in capable and knowledgeable hands.The surgery itself went smoothly, and I’m happy to say the results have been a great success!!
