Biography: 

Mariana began her dental career in Brazil, where she worked as a General Dentist for 12 years, providing comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages. Following her move to the United Kingdom, she continued her professional development by working in a variety of healthcare and dental roles, including dental nursing, before achieving registration as a Dental Therapist and Orthodontic Therapist.

Her broad clinical experience includes preventive dentistry, periodontal treatment, restorative care, oral health education, orthodontic support, and the management of anxious patients. Mariana is passionate about helping patients improve their oral health through education, prevention, and personalised care. She is known for her calm, friendly approach and her ability to build trust with patients, helping them feel comfortable and confident throughout their treatment journey.

Education

Qualified as a Dentist in Brazil in 2008 and practised as a General Dentist for 12 years. Since moving to the UK, I have completed extensive postgraduate training and CPD in areas including Dental Radiography and Radiation Protection, Safeguarding Adults and Children, Infection Prevention and Control, Immediate Life Support, Clinical Governance, Consent, GDPR, Health and Safety, and many other areas of dentistry and patient care. I am registered with the GDC as a Dental Therapist and Orthodontic Therapist.
