Biography

Maria moved to London from Madrid five years ago. This big change in her life was the inspiration to do something different in her “working life” and this was becoming a dental nurse. She has been a dental nurse for three years now. During this time, she has gained experience and confidence in all sectors of dentistry. She really enjoys general dentistry because she can help all our patients to feel better with their smile and oral health.

Maria is a conscientious and works hard to keep her surgery running smoothly and anticipate her dentist’s requirements.

Other interests:

As an “ex journalist”, Maria loves writing and she has a personal blog about her life as a successful mother with two kids and her experience of living in UK. Also, she likes practicing sports, especially swimming, cycling and running and spending time with her family playing and watching football games, traveling and visiting new places around the UK.

I can't say enough great things about Dr Stephen Nkansah and his wonderful assistant at Smilepod Soho.Over the course of my treatment, Dr Stephen has not only significantly improved the health of my teeth but also the appearance of my smile. From my first appointment, Dr Stephen took the time to carefully explain my treatment plan, answered all my questions, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. He is an incredibly skilled professional and very patient. During my Invisalign treatment, I had a special request to remove my attachments for an upcoming event. Dr Stephen was incredibly understanding and supportive. Not only did they accommodate my request, but they also made sure to replace the attachments afterward without any hesitation.
