As soon as Ana graduated in 1991, she began to work in a private practice. In the same year, she joined the restorative dentistry team at the University of Ribeirão Preto. In 1998, she was made Professor of restorative dentistry at the University of Franca responsible for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Ana dedicated herself to teaching, practicing dentistry and working towards her postgraduate qualifications.
In 2007 she moved to Portugal , where she continued to work with a focus on restorative dentistry, having the opportunity to lead hands-on sessions to professionals in national dentistry conferences. Ana has lived in London since 2012, but has continued to work in Portugal exclusively with aesthetic dentistry, specifically with dental bonding treatments. In London, she has been working in different practices across the capital, dedicating herself to her specialty and passion. Ana has a keen interest in working with direct composites and in improving patients’ smiles, consequently having a positive impact on their self-esteem.
Outside dentistry, Ana enjoys spending time with her family, reading, visiting museums, watching cultural television programmes and travelling to historical places.
