David Ivall

Biography

David is an experienced multi site operator who is well versed in both Retail (B2C) and (B2B) sectors. An Engineer by degree, he developed his early career at BP Oil UK’s Retail team before joining BP’s business development team in Europe. He supported the implementation of the downstream Joint Venture with Mobil across Europe before returning to the UK where he led BP’s  London Market of 200 service stations, launching BP Connect and opening 70 BP Connect stores..

Following this, David joined the Royal Mail to lead the transformation to a single daily delivery as Area General Manager for East Anglia and then took on the role of UK Franchise Operations Director for Kall Kwik.  

David joined Smilepod as Finance and Operations Director in 2012 bringing all his skills and experience  to drive sales and profitable growth across the entire Smilepod business, he has been Managing Director since 2017.

Other interests:

In his spare time, David plays the guitar. He also enjoys golf and tennis.
